Som da Massa Album Release
A transcontinental collaboration between Ju, a Seattle-based pernambucana, and Sky, a Massachusetts-based gringo, Som da Massa is the sound of these things. The project brings Northeastern and Northern Brazilian Northeastern traditions like baião, ciranda, ijexá, and carimbó into conversation with 70s-inflected MPB and contemporary international styles, weaving stories, rhythms, and voices across borders.
This event will be the launch of their latest album: "O Amor, O Sonho e A Dor"
