Fredy Andrés & The Essence
Fredy Andrés is a multi-instrumentalist and composer with a love for building community through the act of playing joyful music. Born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, and raised in Washington and Maryland, Fredy Andrés has been described as having a warm and joyous sound. The Essence is a young, up-and-coming band led by Fredy Andrés. Their specialty lies in exploring the multitude of sounds within the jazz genre, performing original compositions and reinterpretations of songs made famous by the Jazz legends of old.
