En Canto brings you music as rich and varied as the people and places of Brazil: forró and baião from the northeast, bossa nova and choro from Rio, and sambas from every city and town. These lively, danceable rhythms get everyone onto the dance floor, while the occasional slower tunes (such as Tom Jobim's "Falando do Amor") evoke the romantic Brazilian mood of saudade (longing). Led by Brazilian-born vocalist Adriana Giordano, this septet combines consummate musicianship with an infectious sense of fun, delighting everyone from the discriminating music aficionado to anyone who just wants to groove.

POPgoji is a 7-piece mash up of American pop/soul and infectious Brazilian beats. Fine tuned vocal harmonies, layered percussion, and unique strings pay tribute to spiritual traditions of the African diaspora. Recreating the community energy of a Rio-style pagode jam session, POPgoji packs dance floors with hot Afro-Brazilian rhythms and familiar lyrics.
Please note: Tickets do not guarantee seating during shows at the Royal Room. For sold out shows standing room may be the only available space. Please come early to ensure you get a table. Reservations can be made for those who are coming for dinner as well as the show. The Royal Room is all ages until 10pm.
