Cascadia Big Band is a 17 piece community jazz big band comprised of serious musicians from the Seattle area. The type of music they play consists of post-swing era Big Band music with great instrumentals and some dance and vocal tunes (featuring big band music of Woody Herman, Stan Kenton, Count Basie, Thad Jones, Mel Lewis, Kenny Clarke, Francy Boland Big Band, etc.)
