After its birth and childhood in New Orleans, Jazz spent its adolescence and early adulthood in Chicago before moving to New York. The windy city was home to too many greats of early Jazz to list here, some of the pianists among them-Earl Hines, Jelly Roll Morton, Jess Stacy, Joe Sullivan and many more, were among the best to ever play the instrument. Native son Ray Skjelbred will be joined by Jacob Zimmerman and Alex Guilbert to guide you through this journey.
Please note: Tickets do not guarantee seating during shows at the Royal Room. For sold out shows standing room may be the only available space. Please come early to ensure you get a table. Reservations can be made for those who are coming for dinner as well as the show. The Royal Room is All Ages until 10pm.
