En Canto will be back at The Royal Room on August 30 for another exciting evening of forró music and dance!
This will be a special show featuring two bands. First, the new Seattle-based group "Maria e Josés" will open the show with forró and pagode (samba): Norma Henry on accordion/vocals, Dick Carlton on zabumba, William MacArthur on pandeiro, Nel Baiano on keys, and Ted on triangle. Then En Canto takes the stage, and will deliver their best forró, baiao, and fresh interpretations of great Brazilian songs. To top it off, Lara Diniz of Forró in Seattle will lead everyone in somebody fun forró moves.

Please note: Tickets do not guarantee seating during shows at the Royal Room. For sold out shows standing room may be the only available space. Please come early to ensure you get a table. Reservations can be made for those who are coming for dinner as well as the show. The Royal Room is All Ages until 10pm.
