Having trouble talking about complex and difficult topics with your partner, your family, your partners, your partners’ partners, etc.?

problems more effectively.
Having trouble being your true self when you talk with people? Even people you care about?
-Come learn how to communicate in a more true and authentic way. Feeling disconnected from the people you want to be close with?
-Come learn how to connect with people through direct and honest communication.
Having difficulty getting your needs and wants met when you try to talk about them?
-Come learn how to talk and negotiate with others to better get your sexual and relationship needs met.
Sar teaches meaningful and authentic small group communication skills. It's for multiple sexual partners, Polyamourous families, people in group households, and anyone who wants to learn more around how to talk about difficult or intimate topics. This workshop is designed to help people communicate more authentically, more effectively, and with a focus on building relationships between both individuals and groups. In it, we work to help people learn skills to connect to one another and to communicate in meaningful and useful ways. This is an experiential workshop, we will spend time both learning and then practicing these skills. So bring your ideas, your questions, and your whole group with you.

About the Presenter:
Sar Surmick is a Marrige and Family Therapist and Sexuality Educator currently located in Redmond, WA. Sar specializes in working within the Poly, Kink, and Queer communities, seeing couples, individuals, and families. Sar has been speaking on the importance of communication in relationships, understanding the role identity plays in a person's life, and working from a sex-positive perspective for some time and continues to work on the same.
